Author Talks: Suzanne Leal in Conversation with Eleanor Limprecht

Suzanne will be in conversation with Eleanor Limprecht to discuss her latest novel The Watchful Wife, a propulsive and provocative novel about love, faith and courage from the bestselling author of The Teacher’s Secret.

The Watchful Wife follows Ellen, a girl raised by her severe parents whose narrow worls is upended when she meets Gordon, a fellow teacher. Ellen is both transformed and beguiled by the connection, love and laughter he brings into her life. But three years later, a knock on the door changes everything. Abandoned and reviled by those around her, Ellen steadfastly refuses to believe Gordon has done anything wrong. In a world of swirling suspicion, she will have to fight to protect him.

Suzanne will be joined by Eleanor Limprecht, author of The Coast and The Passengers. Attendees will be invited to participate in a Q&A session towards the end of the talk.

Books will be available for purchase.

This event will start at 6.30pm, light catering will be provided for guests to enjoy from 6.00pm.
